Aniya Jade (1997-2016)

I am the Mother of an Angel. My Daughter, Aniya Jade, transitioned on April 25, 2016.

Aniya’s brother, friends, and I have established a foundation in her honor. Aniya was born November 15, 1997, and transitioned on April 25, 2016. to honor her memory and fulfill her life dreams.

Aniya adores children, served as a teaching assistant at Cone Elementary School, via the Page Teacher Cadet Program. Aniya was a student of the International Baccalaureate Program at Page High School, in Greensboro NC. Aniya planned and was accepted to attend The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, to major in Early Childhood Development, and become the owner of her own Daycare: Jades Lil Darlings. We have established this foundation to continue to allow her legacy to live on. Jades Little Darlings Foundation, hosts a Pink Candle Lighting Ceremony annually on the date of her passing (April 25); hosts an annual Back to School campaigns for children in need, in North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia, and hosts the National Niya Day PINK OUT to bring awareness to her foundation.

We also accept donations, to provide small scholarships to Page High School Graduates, who have successfully completed the IB program, and have been accepted into the Early Childhood Development Program of UNCG.
