This is true of anything we desire for ourselves and our lives, right. Today, though, I'm specifically referring to a SOFT LIFE. I say it all the time, I'm ready for the soft life. I hear people say it as well, soft life soft life soft life. In life, knowing what you really want is the first step toward making it a reality. This idea may sound simple, but it carries a lot of weight for landing where you want to be in life. Understanding your desires isn’t just about having a general idea of them; it’s about creating a clear and specific picture that guides your actions.Lets delve into the importance of clarity in your desires, explore how to visualize your goals, and take the steps to manifest what you truly want in life.
Lets Be Clear
Answer me this, what does the life you want look like to YOU? Now, I know you will ready this blog and maybe think I'm not serious in asking this question, but I am serious. I want you to use the comment section below and answer this question: What does living a Soft Life look like to you? Clarity is crucial for achieving anything worthwhile. When you are clear in what you want, your path to get there is also clear. This understanding allows you to focus your energy on what is essential, cutting out all distractions.
So, down below, tell me the first thoughts that come to your mind to describe the life you desire. Then, I want you to put a reminder in your phone to come back and re-answer the question. Take a full day off the internet before coming back to answer the question again ~ I promise your answer will have more clarity when you return without any influence from the outside sources.
Think about navigating a new city without a map. You would likely wander aimlessly, feeling unsure about where to go. The same applies to your goals. If you lack a clear vision, it is easy to get caught up in the noise of everyday life and lose sight of your goals.
With clarity, you can set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. Clear targets keep you focused and motivated, driving you to take action.

From Surviving to Thriving...what does that look like?
How many years have you spent in survival mode. As a "single" parent, I spent years making sure the rent was paid, the utilities stayed on, we had food and that we had internet. I remember when I first moved to North Carolina, I did so with just my 401K, a wish and a prayer. I was able to find work quickly through a temp agency and did my job well, with the anticipation that I would get a significant pay increase once I was hired as a permanent employee. I was wrong, when the owner of the company hired me, he gave me $1.00 more per hour. I cried. I called my mother from the parking lot and cried. How can I raise 2 children on $10/hr. That triggered survival mode. I made it work, and I made sure we had joy. I shopped at SaveALot and used their sales to keep my family fed...I..you know what ~ thats enough about that phase of life, I'm sure you get the picture.
Lets shift from the surviving mindset to the thriving mindset right now, right now! Here is what I know, for a fact, you have to have clarity first then set goals in your life; and when the goal is set you must be able to see the finish line in your minds eye. Know clearly where you want to be and what you want it to look like. So you know for a fact you want to shift out of Survival Mode and into a Soft Life, right? I want to you to try these steps:
Write down your survival story
Write down what it means to have a soft life
Write down what it feels like to thrive
Write out in detail your new life story. Turn the survival page and write out the thriving rest of your life.
Then sit in the feeling you have in your new life story. What does it feel like? Take your time in this space and FEEL.
For your vision to come to complete fruition it is pertinent that you feel the end scene. For example if you see a life in a Tropical Island, Sipping Marvelous Beverages, being served by a private concierge to you and your life partner while serving others in your dream position that allows you to "work" from any location as money is consistently deposited into your bank account from many sources. ~ THEN PICTURE IT...put yourself in the scene and live in the feeling of that life. Engage all your senses—what do you see, hear, feel, and even smell? The more realistic you make this experience, the faster you shift.

Taking Action
Visualization is just the beginning; taking real steps toward your goals is essential. Start by breaking your larger goals down into smaller, manageable tasks. Create a detailed action plan outlining what you need to do to reach your goals. As you make this plan clear, you will notice the doors opening, the opportunities arising - with ease.
